When it comes to the complete package, Colorado has it all.   The winter lifestyle in American's highest state originally set the standard for what we take for granted today in most other modern resorts.  Skiing 'mile high' is a truly amazing experience and one that passionate skiers and boarders should definitely have on their must-do list. 

At nearby Utah you will find some of the driest snow in the world.   Salt Lake City is less than one hour's drive from nine Utah resorts and the host for the 2002 Winter Olympics.  Utah offers some of the finest skiing and lodging in the world and resorts are so close you can ski a different resort every day.  Park City is an old mining town, it is now a world-class ski destination with three side-by-side resorts - Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons.  It's also the home of the Sundance Film Festival.

Crested Butte is located within the Gunnison National Forest and the Elk Mountain Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The resort lies in the town of Mt. Crested Butte, 5 kilometres from the historic town of Crested Butte.

Steamboat (Colorado)
