Escorted Coach Tour

Join this escorted coach tour visiting Warsaw, Zakopane, and Krakow.
Highlights include a Chopin piano recital, a visit to the Wedel Chocolate Factory, Jasna Gora Monastery (of the Black Madonna fame), the unique wooden architecture of Zakopane, a boat trip through the Danajec River Gorge, visit to Auschwitz, a folklore performance and a visit to the unusual Wieliczka Salt Mind with its lakes, underground chambers, grottoes and chapels carved out of the salt.

Day 1 - Sat

On arrival, meet & transfer to your hotel.  Meet your fellow travellers tonight for a short walk in the Old Town and dinner in a local restaurants.  Overnight in Wawsaw. (D)
Day 2 - Sun

Morning sightseeing tour of Warsaw and its Old Town, which was totally destroyed during WWII. Included is a visit to the Royal Palace. After lunch at a local restaurant, see the former Warsaw Ghetto
and visit the Wedel Chocolate Factory.Evening, Chopin piano recital with a glass of sparkling wine. Overnight Warsaw.(B, L)

Day 3 - Mon


Warsaw - Zakopane

Morning departure to Zakopane via Czestochowa, where you visit the country's national shrine – the Jasna Gora Monastery.Its famous blackened painting of St. Mary is known as the Black Madonna. After
lunch, continue to picturesque Zakopane.  Overnight Zakopane. (B, L)

Day 4 - Tue

  Zakopane to Krakow
After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Zakopane with its unique wooden architecture. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Tatras from the summit of Gubalowka Mountain, then a boat trip through the
Dunajec River Gorge. Tonight's dinner is at a local restaurant. Overnight Krakow.(B,D)
Day 5 - Wed
    Krakow is the capital of Poland and the seat of kings until 1596.  Your morning sightseeing includes the town square - the largest in Europe with its medieval centre.  It emerged relatively unscathed from WWII.  After lunch drive to Auschwitz to visit the Martyrdom Museum of the former Nazi concentration camp.  Overnight Krakow. Day 6 - Thu

    Morning free.  In the afternoon visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine with its lakes, underground chambers, grottoes and chapels carved from salt by generations of Polish miners over 700 years.  Enjoy dinner with a folklore performance at a local restaurant.  Overnight in Krakow. (B, D)
Day 7 - Fri
    Tour services end after breakfast with a transfer to the airport. (B)
