Temporary Closure of Southern Runway Dubai International Airport

Dubai International Airport plans to close its southern runway for a 45-day period from April 16th to May 30th, 2019, to conduct a comprehensive upgrade. During this period certain flights will be redirected to Al Maktoum International Airport or may face rescheduling or cancellation.

All airline operators flying to Dubai International Airport have been advised of any redirection, rescheduling or cancellations. Innovative Travel recommends that you get in touch with your arrival airline, if you have clients travelling to Dubai during this period to reconfirm which airport that clients will arrive at, as this may impact land arrangements, with a different transfer arrangements required.
