Travel into another time and place when you explore the Middle East. The awe inspiring history, temples and tombs (some built, some hewn out of rock) have left their legacy forever.
From the great Pyramids in Egypt; to the Valley of the Kings and the more recently discovered Golden Mummies in the Western Desert; Egypt has left its mark indelibly on history.
Near to Egypt is its remarkable neighbour Jordan - most famous for the city of Petra, half as old as time. Combined with the Greco-Roman city of Jerash, Wadi Rum made famous by Lawrence of Arabia and the Dead Sea, Jordan has something for everyone.
Syria and its capital Damascus, the once famous oasis city of Palmyra and the crusader castle of Krak des chevaliers all make Syria a remarkable country to visit.
Lebanon also has crusader history in the form of their castle in Tripoli, while the ancient port of Byblos has been inhabited for 5,000 years.
