This morning drive south to the city of Sfax, travelling through the Sahel region, famous for its olive groves and for well-preserved Roman viaducts and villas. Rest of the day at leisure. Perhaps wander around the winding streets of Sfax’s walled medina or along the colourful harbour front.(B) |
Day 3

Sfax – El Jem - Kairouan |

Drive to the Allied war cemeteries near Sfax. Later continue north to visit the biggest colosseum outside Rome at El Jem, before journeying on to the holy city of Kairouan with its impressive Grand Mosque. Overnight in Kairouan.(B) |
Day 4

Kairouan - Hammamet |

Morning transfer to the popular coastal resort of Hammamet for an afternoon relaxing on the beach or exploring the town’s bustling markets. Overnight in Hammamet.(B).
