Damascus
             
Arrival transfer to your Damascus hotel.
Day 2 Damascus 
  Savour the special atmosphere of this ancient city. Explore Merjeh Square, Hamidieh Bazaar, Saladin's Mausoleum, Azem Palace, Umayyad Mosque (where John the Baptist's head is enshrined), the "Straight Street", Eastern Gate, St Paul’s Window and the Old Walls. Later visit the brocade, copper & Mosaic souks.(B)
Day 3
Damascus-Palmyra 
  Take the desert road to Palmyra to marvel at the ruins of the once-fabulous oasis city of Queen Zenobia. These ancient monuments include the Temple of Baal, Arch of Triumph, Theatre and Museum.(B)
Day 4
Palmyra-Krak des Chevaliers-Damascus 
  Explore the greatest Crusader castle of all, Krak des Chevaliers, which once held over 2000 Knights of St John. At 800m above sea level, this impregnable fortress commands stunning views of the surrounding area. Later continue to Damascus.(B)
Day 5
Damascus
  Departure transfer to the airport.(B)
