| Day 1 |
Muscat - Salalah |
|
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Salalah. Upon arrival transfer to your selected hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure. (B) |
| Day 2 |
Salalah - Taqah |
| |
Tour of East Salalah. Drive past the Royal Farm and the Al Mamura Palace to arrive at Taqah, known for its sardines and Taqah Castle. Travel to Samhuram Port from where the frankincense trade used to take place, and see the remains of Queen Shebas Palace on top of a hill overlooking the Khor Rawi. Continue along the coast to Mirbat, where the Arabian horses and slave trade used to take place. Walk the streets and view old, beautiful merchant houses with their carved doors and windows. (B) |
| Day 3 |
Mughsail Beach / West Salalah |

Today tour to West Salalah visiting Jobs Tomb marking the place where the remains of the prophet known as Job in the Old Testament can be found. Continue to Mughsail Beach, known for its abundance of bird life such as flamingos, pelicans and storks. The tour ends with a visit to the frankincense trees which produce incense for which this region is famous. For lunch try a local treat - Madhabi (meat cooked on stones served with rice and sauce). Remainder of the day at leisure. (B) |

Muscat |

Early breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Muscat to connect with your onward flight. (B) |
