Day 1   Casablanca
    Welcome to Morocco.  On arrival in Casablanca you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2   Casablanca -  Chefchaouen

Depart for the 'Blue Town' of Chefchaouen where walls, doors, windows, stairways, alleyways and archways are painted varying shades of blue. Afternoon is at leisure to explore, or to simply relax. Outa el Hammam is the main square, and the place to watch the world go by. (B)

Day 3   Chefchaouen - Fez

Depart Chefchaouen and head south to Volubilis, to explore the most extensive remains of a Roman city in Morocco. Continue on to Moulay Idriss, the oldest and most sacred town in Morocco founded by Moulay Idriss I in 789. Continue to Fez, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco; vibrant, noisy fascinating and overwhelming – a visual and aromatic feast for the senses. Here you will stay for two nights in an elegant, riad-style accommodation on the edge of the huge, well-preserved medieval old city. (B)

Day 4   Fez


Today discover the old city, known locally as Fes el Bali, arguably the world's most fascinating and confounding old city. Walk through the twisting streets and alleyways, passing donkeys piled high with goods and explore the specialty sections that divide the souk. Explore the incredible richness of the old city, visiting Medresse el Attarine, the tanneries and the splendid Funduk Nejjarine, a beautifully restored 18th century inn. (B)

Day 5   Fez

Day at leisure to relax or choose one of the Select & Mix activities.  (B)

Day 6   Fez - Erfoud - Merzouga

Depart for the south through the foothills of the middle Atlas Mountains passing through Ifrane, a charming ski resort, and Midelt et Errachidia where you stop for a short visit. Arrive at Erfoud, one of the largest oases in Morocco, famous for its almost one million date palm trees. From Erfoud travel into the desert by 4x4 to the dunes of Merzouga, one of the truly great sights of Morocco, and your private desert encampment. This evening take a camel ride into the dunes to experience a desert sunset. (B,D)

Day 7   Merzouga - Ouarzazate

Today rise early to see the sun rise over the dunes - a spectacular sight! After breakfast depart to Ouarzazate via the Todra Gorges and Dades Valley. Remainder of the afternoon at leisure in Ouarzazate. (B, D)

Day 8   Ouarzazate - Marrakech



See Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Studios on the outskirts of Ouarzazate before continuing on to Ait Ben Haddou, a Berber village made famous as a backdrop for movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Jewel of the Nile and Gladiator. Time to explore before continuing to Marrakech via the spectacular Tizi n' Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains.  (B)

Day 9  



Meet your local guide and set off on a morning exploration of the old medina. Visit the many salons and chambers that make up Bahia Palace. Continue to the Marrakech Museum, itself a former palace, which houses a fine collection of Moroccan art and sculpture. Stop by the Koutoubia Mosque; then walk back through the streets of the old medina to the Jemaa el Fna Square. (B)

Day 10   Marrakech

Today is at leisure to relax or choose one of the Select & Mix activities.  (B)

Day 11   Marrakech - Essaouira

From Marrakech, head to the 16th century fortress town of Essaouira popular for its magnificent beaches, captivating souq and seafood restaurants. Check-in at to your charming riad, home for the next two nights. (B)

Day 12   Essaouira

Day at leisure to relax or choose one of the Select & Mix activities.  (B)

Day 13
  Essaouira - Casablanca

After breakfast, travel back to Casablanca for your last night in Morocco. (B)

Day 14
    Departure transfer to the airport (B)
