ITINERARY      
 Day 1    

Amman - King's Highway - Dana
Drive along King's Highway to Dana visiting en route Madaba, Mt Nebo and Kerak.  Overnight at the simple Dana Guesthouse with its stunning view over Wadi Dana. (D)

       
 Day 2    

Dana Reserve trekking
Depart for a 5 to 6 hour guided trek through the Dana Reserve, in a blend of mountains and desert landscape.  Dana Reserve is home to a varied plant life, nearly 150 bird species and over 200 recorded mammals and reptiles, including the ibex and mountain gazelle.  (B,L,D)

       
 Day 3    

Dana - Petra
Morning at leisure for more walking or to wander around the charming Dana Village.  Then transfer to Petra. (B)
