Day 1 Cairo
Arrival transfer to your Pyramids area hotel. See "Warm Welcome" offer (below).
Later visit the 'Pharonic Village' on the Nile, where the colourful processions and rituals of ancient Egypt are vividly brought to life.

Day 2 Cairo
A day to remember! - the ancient capital of Memphis, the enduring monuments of Sakkara, the awesome Pyramids of Giza plus the fabulous & mysterious Sphinx.(B)
Day 3 Cairo - Luxor
Fly to Luxor & transfer to your hotel. Later visit the Mummy Museum with its fascinating & rather freaky displays.(B)
Day 4 Luxor
Morning free to stroll through Luxor’s exotic bazaars or take a relaxing horse-carriage ride along the riverfront "Corniche". Later board your Nile Cruise Boat, then visit the magnificent Luxor & Karnak Temples.(B,L,D)
Day 5 Luxor - Esna - Edfu
Unforgettable sights today include the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatchepsut & Colossi of Memnon. Later cruise via the Esna Lock to Edfu.(B,L,D)
Day 6 Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan
Visit the mysterious Temple of Horus at Edfu then sail on to see Kom Ombo Temple. Later continue to Aswan.(B,L,D)
Day 7 Aswan
Visit Aswan's High Dams and Temple of Philae. In the afternoon sail in a felucca around the lush islands of Aswan. (B,L,D)
Day 8 Aswan
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to your Aswan hotel. Remainder of day at leisure.(B) Option to take a "Kingdom of Nubia Cruise".
Day 9 Aswan - Cairo
Fly to Cairo & transfer to your city hotel. Later marvel at Tutankhamun’s glittering treasures in the Egyptian Museum. Then discover the hustle & bustle of Khan El Khalili bazaar.(B)
Day 10 Cairo
Departure transfer to the airport.(B)

Cruise itinerary subject to change due to operation of Nile river locks etc. The Esna Lock closes at various times throughout the year, under the authority of the Egyptian Government. This is beyond the control of Innovative Travel & our Egyptian agent. Cruise boats will not be permitted to travel between Luxor & Esna during this closure. All Luxor sightseeing will be operated by coach from Esna.
