Day 2 Cairo
A day to remember! Visit the ancient capital of Memphis, the enduring monuments of Sakkara, the awesome Pyramids of Giza plus the fabulous & mysterious Sphinx. (B)
Optional Sound and Light show at the Pyramids tonight.
Day 3 Cairo - Luxor
Fly to Luxor and board your Nile Cruise Boat, then visit the magnificent Luxor and Kanak Temples. (B,L,D)
Optional Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple tonight.
Day 4 Luxor - Esna - Edfu
Unforgettable sights today include the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatchepsut and Colossi of Memnon. Later cruise via the Esna Lock to Edfu. (B,L,D)
Day 5 Edfu - Kon Ombo - Aswan
Visit the mysterious Temple of Horus at Edfu then sail on to see Kom Ombo Temple. Later continue to Aswan. (B,L,D)
Day 6 Aswan
Visit Aswan's High Dam and Temple of Philae. In the afternoon sail by felucca around the lush islands of Aswan. (B,L,D)

Day 7 Aswan - Cairo
Fly back to the capital and transfer to your city hotel, conveniently located in the centre of Cairo. Remainder of day at leisure. (B)
Day 8 Cairo
Marvel at the glittering treasures of Tutankhamun on your tour of the Egyptian Museum. Later visit the towering Citadel, the Mosque of Sultan Hassan, the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar and the Hanging Church. (B)
Day 9 Cairo
Departure transfer to the airport. (B)

The Esna Lock closes periodically throughout the year, the timing being under Egyptian Government control - so beyond the control of Innovative Travel and its agents. Cruise boats are not permitted to travel between Luxor & Esna during this closure, so sightseeing will be operated by coach from Esna.
