ITINERARY   
   
Day 1
SOUTH AFRICA
Johannesburg
Arrive in Johannesburg.  Meet & greet and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Johannesburg - Hoedspruit - Kapama Game Reserve
Fly to Hoedspruit and transfer to Kapama Game Reserve, your home for the next three days and home to the 'Big Five'.  Afternoon game drive.  Accommodation is in luxurious secluded camps or lodges.  (B,L,D)
Day 3 & 4 Kapama Game Reserve
Explore the 1200 hectares of undisturbed bushveld in search of the multitude of animals and plants that reveal the essence of the African continent.  Each day participate in the early morning and late afternoon game drives, either on foot or by vehicle, capturing the raw essence of the region.  The park is also home to Hoedspruit Research and Breeding Centre for endangered species including rehabilitating cheetah, lion and rhino.  (B,L,D)
Day 5 Kapama Game Reserve - Nelspruit - Cape Town
Final early morning game drive before flying to Cape Town.  Afternoon at leisure to explore the Victoria & Albert Waterfront.  Take in the breathtaking views of the Table Mountain and its surrounds. (B)
Day 6 Cape Town
After breakfast embark on a tour of Table Mountain, the definitive symbol of Cape Town.  Continue to explore the sites of Cape Town. (B)
Day 7 Cape Town
This morning depart on a tour of the Winelands.  Visit historic Stellenbosch, take a scenic drive over Helshoogte pass on to Franschoek and through out the day savour the opportunity to sample local wine and cheese. (B,L)
Day 8 Cape Town - Johannesburg - Cairo
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Cairo (B)

Day 9
EGYPT
Cairo
Arrival transfer to your Pyramids area hotel.
Day 10 Cairo
Visit the truly wondrous Pyramids of Giza plus the enigmatic Sphinx.  Later marvel at the glittering treasures of Tutankhamun in the Egyptian Museum. (B)
Day 11 Cairo - Aswan
Fly to Aswan and board your Nile cruise boat.  This afternoon visit the High Dam and the Temple of Philae. (B,L,D)
Optional: Early morning visit to Abu Simbel
Day 12 Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu
A morning visit to the Temple Kom Ombo before sailing to Edfu.  (B,L,D)
Day 13 Edfu - Esna - Luxor
After visiting the Temple of Horus in Edfu, sail across Esna Lock before arriving in Luxor for your overnight stay.  Later that day visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor.  (B,L,D)
Day 14 Luxor - Cairo
Explore the Valley of the Kings, Queemn Hatchepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon before your flight to Cairo.
Overnight central Cairo. (B)
Day 15 Cairo
Departure transfer to the airport. (B)
