Ankara - Cappadocia
Morning departure to view the Hittite artifacts at the Museum of Anatolian Civilisations. Visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk, father of modern Turkey, then drive to Cappadocia, touring a 13th century Caravan Inn enroute. (B,D) |
| Day 5 - Tuesday |
Cappadocia
After breakfast visit Goreme, Avanos, Pasabagi, Red Valley and have a brief regional pottery workshop in a cave. (B,D)
Early morning option: Balloon tour - experience floating through volcanic valleys, fairy chimneys and caves with the sunrise of Cappadocia.

Cappadocia - Pamukkale
Drive to Pamukkale en route stopping to visit the Mausoleum of the Suti philosopher Mevlana. (B,D) |

Pamukkale - Perge - Antalya
Morning drive to Antalya, arriving mid afternoon. Afternoon at leisure to relax on the beautiful Mediterranean coast. (B,D) |

Full day tour to the ancient city of Perge and the famous Roman theatre in Aspendos. (B,D)

Day 9 - Saturday

Antalya - Demre - Kekova - Kalkan
After breakfast depart for Kas, and enroute visit the famous Church of St. Nicholas (the original Santa Claus) in Demre, and take a boat trip to Kekova (the Sunken City). (B,D)

Kas - Xanthos - Patara - Fethiye
Today visit the ancient cities of Patara and Xanthos and then continue to the famous beach resort of Fethiye. (B,D) |

Fethiye - Caunos - Marmaris
After breakfast depart on a short drive to Dalyan village, then take a river boat tour to the mud baths with sulphur hot springs. View the Ancient Kings' Tombs of Caunos City, and finally have a relaxing swim break at Iztuzu Beach (also known as Turtle Beach) which is a natural shelter and breeding site for Blue Crabs and the nearly extinct Loggerheads Sea Turtles. Marmaris - Bodrum
Continue to Bodrum to visit the Castle of St. Peter and the famous Underwater Museum. Then continue to the foundations of the Mausoleum of Halicanassos which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. (B,D) |

Bodrum - Kusadasi
Early morning drive to Kusadasi to join fellow travellers and proceed to Ephesus. Full day tour of the famous ruins of Ephesus and St. Mary's House. (B,D) |

Pergamum - Troy - Canakkale
Visit the ancient Asclepion Medical Centre in Pergamum, tour Troy with its famous wooden horse and continue to Canakkale. (B,D) |

Dardanelles - Gallipoli - Istanbul
Morning depart for Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery and Chunuk Bair, before continuing to Istanbul. (B) |
