ITINERARY
Day 1	Istanbul   Arrival transfer from istanbul airport to your hotel.
Day 2	Istanbul - Imperial Neighbourhood Today on your private tour of Istanbul begin at the Hagia Sophia, view one of the best Deisis mosaics from 12th century representative of Byzantine Art.  Then continue to the Topkapi Palace.  Visit the Treasury, where the extensive exhibits include priceless world-class collections of jewellery, porcelain, textiles and costumes of the Sultans.  After lunch visit the Blue Mosque, finishing with the 'sine qua non' Underground or Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazaar. Day 3 - option 1	Istanbul - Living Colours Smells of the spices welcome you at the Egyptian Spice Markets.  Visit the Rustem Pasa Mosque, home of some of the best tiles in Istanbul, and the Byzantine Church and the Holy Saviour of Chora, with its mosaics and frescoes.  Travel to Ortakoy, take a small public boat on the Bosphorus, some Turkish tea whilst enjoying the views of Istanbul, all before returning to your hotel. Day 3 - option 2	Istanbul - Walk, eat, chat Sample the diverse tastes of Istanbul whilst wandering the streets and bazaars of the city.  Taste pickles from "Petit Tursucusu", sea mussels from Samatya, or grilled fish from Sikeci; and along the way learn about the local culture and history. (B,L)
Day 4	Istanbul departure Transfer to the airport to continue your trip in Turkey. (B)
