  A more adventurous coach tour encompassing the essence of Turkey: sightseeing of ancient monuments, excursions offering cultural diversity and leisure activities in Turkey's natural wonderland.  Start your journey in Istanbul and make your way down the west coast passing the memorial sites of Gallipoli and the 2000 year old Ephesus.  Visit enroute quaint villages, beautiful beaches and fantastic natural wonders such as Saklikent Gorge and unforgettable Cappadocia.
   
ITINERARY                    
Day 1 - Saturday


Istanbul
Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative before transfer to your Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure to settle in and explore your surrounds.

 

 

Day 2 - Sunday



Istanbul
Visit Topkapi Palace which was the official residence in the city of the Ottoman Sultans for approximately 400 years.  Continue to the Saint Sophia Basilica, the magnificent Blue Mosque and the Spice Market. The day ends with an overnight stay in Istanbul. (B)

   

Day 3 - Monday



Istanbul - Gallipoli - Canakkale
After breakfast at the hotel , drive to Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove , Nek , Chunuk Bair , Lone Pine and 57.th regiment memorial and the war museum, before crossing the Dardanelles.  Overnight stay in Canakkale. (B,D)

   
Day 4 - Tuesday


Canakkale - Troy – Pergamum – Kusadasi
After breakfast at the hotel drive to legendary to Troy - site of the Trojan War.  Then cross  the Ida Mountains to Pergamum.  Visit Acropolis and overnight in Kusadasi. (B,D)

   
Day 5 - Wednesday




Kusadasi - Ephesus- Sirince – Kusadasi
After Breakfast a short drive to visit Ephesus and an opportunity to discover the rich history behind local handicrafts such as hand-made carpets, leather. Continue to the village of Sirince, one of the most beautiful villages in Turkey, with free time for shopping or perhaps a wine tasting. Return to Kusadasi for overnight stay. (B,D)

   
Day 6 - Thursday



Kusadasi - Pamukkale -Marmaris
After breakfast drive through the plains and cotton farm to Pamukkale.  After time to enjoy the beauty of the lime cascades and visit the ancient Hierapolis your journey continues to marmaris.  (B,D)

 

 

Day 7 - Friday



Marmaris - Koycegiz  – Fethiye
This morning we drive to the lakeside town of Koycegiz where you will take a boat cruise to Turtle Beach and have the opportunity to take a mudbath. Drive back to Fethiye for dinner and overnight accommodation. (B,D)

   
Day 8 - Saturday



Fethiye - Kayakoy - Oludeniz - Fethiye
Morning visit to Kayakoy, and abandoned Greek village known as the 'Ghost Village'.  From there continue to Oludeniz with its stunning beach, where you will have time for a swim before returning to Fethiye for your overnight stay. (B)

 

 

Day 9 - Sunday



Fethiye - Saklikent Gorge - Antalya
Today visit the stunningly beautiful Saklikent Gorge, Turkey's longest and deepest canyon.  After tracking along the canyon continue to Antalya crossing the Taurus mountains. Dinner and overnight in Antalya. (B,D)

   
Day 10 - Monday



Antalya - Aspendos – Konya - Cappadocia
Early departure for Konya, stopping en route at the Aspendos ancient Theatre. In Konya tour the monastery of the Mervlana Whirling Dervishes. Afternoon drive to Cappadocia via Seljuk- a fine example of an ancient Silk Road caravanserai. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B,D)

 
Day 11 - Tuesday



Cappadocia
After breakfast depart on a full day excursion of Cappadocia including visits to the Kaymakli Underground City, Open Air Museum in Goreme and the natural fortress in Uchisar. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B)  An optional Turkish folklore evening is available tonight.

   
Day 12 - Wednesday

Cappadocia - Ankara - Safranbolu
Morning departure for Safranbolu.  On the way stop in Ankara to visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk.  Continue to the 'open air museum' town of Safranbolu - a UNESCO World Heritage site.  Tonight stay at an old Ottoman mansion. (B,D)

   

Day 13 - Thursday

  

Safranbolu  - Istanbul
Tour the old town of Safranbolu where you can taste some fine example of Turkish Delight, before continuing to Istanbul.  Afternoon visit to the Grand Bazaar. (B)

   
Day 14 - Friday

Istanbul
After breakfast, transfer to airport. (B)
