Morning tour of Athens including the immortal Acropolis with its architectural masterpiece, the Parthenon. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Monday

Athens - Delphi - Kalambaka
Depart to Delphi, where the famous Delphi oracle once foretold the destiny of men in the Temple of Apollo. See the sacred Way and the Castilian Fountain, and visit the Archaeological Museum. Later continue to Kalambaka. (B,D)

Tuesday

Kalambra- Bitola- Ohrid
After breakfast, climb to the top of Meteora, known as “The Rocks that fell from the Sky”, where monks built their nests away from civilisation. Later continue to Ohrid, stopping at Bitola on the way. (B,D)

Wednesday

Ohrid - Tirana
Morning tour of the UNESCO’s World Heritage site of Ohrid. Walk through the cobblestone streets of the old town; see the Cathedral of St. Sofia. Then continue to Tirana, capital of Albania for overnight. (B,D)

Thursday

Tirana
Morning sightseeing tour of Tirana including the Skanderbeg Square, the Puppet Theatre, the Ethem Bey Mosque, and the Skanderbeg Statue. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Friday

Tirana - Shkodra – Dubrovnik
Morning departure for Shkodra, a major cultural centre. Views of the Rozafa Castle, magnificently situated on a hill above the city. Later cross the border to Montenegro and drive via Bar, Budva and Herceg Novi towards Dubrovnik. (B,D)

Morning walking tour of "Old Dubrovnik”: the Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower clock, Orlando’s Column and the Sponza Palace. See also the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery. Rest of the day at leisure. (B)

Dubrovnik - Split
Travel north along the spectacular Adriatic coast, past old fishing villages to Split. Tour the historic inner city. See remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. (B,D)

Split - Trogir - Plitvice Lakes
After breakfast, head north along the coast to Trogir. Continue to the beautiful Plitvice Lakes National Park. Take a walking tour around the lower lakes and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the 16 terraced lakes natural wonder. (B,D)

Plitvice Lakes – Opatija - Postojna -Bled
Today drive to Opatija. Then to Postojna, to tour the caves by miniature electric train. Continue to Bled, beautifully situated in the Julian Alps. (B,D)

Morning sightseeing tour of Bled including the lakeshore and a visit to the Bled Castle perched on a cliff high above the lake. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Bled - Ljubljana - Zagreb
Drive to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Visit the open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, the Baroque Town Hall and Robba's Fountain. Then, proceed to Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia. (B,D)
