Day 1

Athens - Nauplion
A morning drive south to the Corinth Canal. Later visit the archaeological site of Epidaurus. Overnight in Nauplion.

Day 2

Nauplion - Tripoli - Sparta - Gythion
Depart to visit Tripoli and Sparta before continuing via Mystra to Gythion for your overnight stay. (B,D)

Day 3 |
|
Gythion - Kalamata - Pylos
Today vist Diros Cave, which fetaures galleries and chambers filled with stalactites and stalacmites. Later visit the olive producing town of Kalamata. Continue to Pylos for your overnight stay. (B,D)

Day 4

Meteora - Thessaloniki
Visit the Castle of Methoni and the ottoman fort of Niokastro. Later travel to Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. (B,D)

Day 5

Day 5 Olympia - Delphi
Spend the morning exploring Olympia before travelling to Delphi via the picturesque city of Nafpaktos. (B,D)

Day 6

Day 6 Delphi - Itea
Explore the ancient Oracle of Delphi taking in the Temple of Apollo, the Theatre of Delphi, before travelling to the city of Itea for two nights. Evening cooking classes teach how to prepare some favourite Greek dishes, like dolmadakia, tzatziki and mousaka. Visit Vagonetta and the winery of Argyriou. (B,D) Optional walking tour

Day 7

Itea - Kalambaka
After travelling through central Greece, the stunning scenery of the gigantic rock formations and clifftop monasteries of Meteora are today's destination. (B,D)

Day 8

Kalambaka - Athens
Visit two of the most prominent monasteries Varlaam and Agios Stefanos. Later travel back to Athens to arrive early evening. (B)
