Day 1   Rome - Florence (285 km)

Transfer on your own to the railway station to catch your train to Florence. Upon arrival transfer on your own to hotel. At 1.45 pm with an expert guide you will enjoy a walk through the most fascinating and interesting places of Florence: Republica Square, the Cathedral with Brunelleschi's Dome, (exterior) the Baptistery with its famous Gates of Paradise, Signoria Square with its Palazzo Vecchio and Loggia dei Lanzi. Few minutes to take last pictures and you will meet the guide to enter the Uffizi Gallery (Monday closed) to visit its famous and beautiful collections of Italian Renaissance paintings. The tour will finish enjoying a beautiful view of Florence, from Uffizi terrace. It is possible to remain into the museum until closing time. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2   Florence - Cinque Terre - Florence (220 km)

After breakfast, reach the arranged meeting point for a whole day dedicated to the discovery of one of the most enchanting landscapes in the world. Five (cinque) villages, suspended between sea and land listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Your visit will begin at daybreak, with arrival at La Spezia, where your will take a train to Riomaggiore. The village, dating from the early thirteenth century, is known for its historic character and its wine. You will then reach Manarola Your journey will continue to Monterosso, an ancient fishing village considered "the pearl of the Cinque Terre", where you will be overcome by its enchanting beaches and lush vegetation that surround the little town. Here you will have free time to plunge into the crystal sea and to sunbathe, before taking the boat to Vernazza, a seaside town surrounding a little natural port. Lunch is included en route. In addition to comfortable clothes, we recommend to have with you a swimwear and a hat to protect you against the sun. The tour will ends in front of Santa Maria Novella Station in Florence. Back to hotel on your own and overnight. (BL)

Day 3   Florence

Breakfast at hotel. Time at leisure. Overnight at hotel. (B)

Day 4   Florence - Siena - San Gimignano - Chianti - Florence (280 km)

Departing from Florence, our tour will start in Siena, where our local and expert guide will lead you through its steep medieval streets, admiring the splendid palaces until we will reach the Cathedral (interior), Palazzo Comunale (Municipal Building) and Piazza del Campo where the Palio race takes place every year. Then free time for lunch (excluded) and shopping. We'll continue then to Monteriggioni, well known worldwide for its wine and its countryside of unrivalled charm, where woods alternate with vineyards and olive groves, in a landscape dotted with Romanesque churches, farmhouses, villas and castles. The visit will continue to San Gimignano, one of the most fascinating examples of medieval towns, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco: you will have free time to discover the beautiful squares, buildings, churches and suggestive alleyways and to shop.
Finally we'll stop in a farm house , where you'll  taste some of the best Tuscan wines with a little snack of sliced cold meats, bruschetta, salami and cheese. Proceed to Florence. Overnight. (BL)

Day 5   Florence - Rome (280 km)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer on your own to S.Maria Novella station and catch your train to Rome. End of services. (B)
