Day 1

Milan-Verona-Venice (350 km)
    Departing at 10 AM from your hotel to Verona, one of Italy most fascinating city, featuring a wide array of monuments and historic buildings, such as Romeo and Juliet's balcony and the Roman Theatre. Depart to Venice, the unique city in the world built on the water. Overnight at your hotel
Day 2

Venice-Siena (310 km)

After breakfast guided visit of St-Mark's Square and neighbouring sites. Early afternoon departure to Siena passing through the splendid landscapes of Emilia Romagna and Tuscany regions. Arrival in Siena. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Day 3

Siena-San Gimignano & Chianti - Rome (100 km)

After breakfast, departure for a full day  tour across the beautiful Hills of Chianti. You will first reach San Gimignano, a picturesque, fascinating medieval town declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and famous for its white wine. Then the tour will move to the Chianti area with its impressive picture-postcard landscape and, at a famous wine estate, you will taste the best Chianti red wine together with light lunch. In the afternoon you'll go back to Siena to enjoy a walking tour of the city to admire the Dome (outside), the magnificent square known as Il Campo, where twice a year the Palio race is run on bareback horses. Proceed to Rome. Overnight. (B,L)

Day 4

Rome (Optional Vatican Museum)

After breakfast you'll have a guided tour of Rome. Classic sites include: Colosseum (from outside) Trevi Fountain, Castle of St. Angelo and St. Peter's Basilica (from outside). In the afternoon possibility of an optional Vatican Museums optional tour (€). Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 5
  Rome - Florence (290 km)

After breakfast you'll depart for Florence, the "Cradle of the Renaissance", crossing some of Italy's most beautiful regions, including Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany, before arriving in Florence at approximately noon. Early afternoon, a local guide will introduce you to Giotto's bell tower, Piazza della Signoria and many other timeless highlights. Dinner & overnight at your hotel in Florence. (B,D)

Day 6
  Florence - Maggiore Lake (390 km)

After breakfast, depart for the Lombardia region continuing to Stresa-Baveno, two quaint, picturesque towns on Maggiore lake, where you'll spend two nights. Maggiore Lake is one of most beautiful Italy lakes, known for its splendid climate and sightseeing. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. (B,D)

Day 7
  Lugano (Switzerland) excursion (150 km)
    Breakfast is followed by a day-long excursion into the Alps and Switzerland. Skirting Maggiore Lake, you'll pass Pallanza, Intra and Ghiffa before reaching Lugano, where you can enjoy leisure time, shopping the elegant boutiques of Via Nassa or walking by the magnificent Civic Park.  Return to Stresa/Baveno later in the afternoon.  Dinner and overnight. Day 8
  Lake Maggiore - Milan (80 km)

Breakfast is followed by departure to Milan. Upon arrival enjoy a panoramic tour of the city from the bus. End of services. (B)
