The Isola Madre is entirely covered in lush English-style botanical gardens playing host to a variety of species from all over the world. The Isola Bella will surprise you with its magnificent Grottoes, underground rooms decorated with multi-coloured pebbles that make them resemble a huge, one-of-a-kind mosaic with designs reflecting aquatic themes.

The city of the Kings of Italy offers different opportunities to experience local traditions like a Royal Break at a historical café, the aperitif rite when people get together at trendy bars or historical cafés to enjoy an array of finger food (the so-called Merenda Sinoira) that is so abundant that you can actually decide to dine this away. Get in touch with the locals by meeting a shoemaker artisan and by visiting his workshop
