The 700 islands and cays of the Bahamas are made up of 13,939 sq. km of land covering 260,000 sq. km of the Atlantic Ocean.
Nassau the capital city is located on New Paradise Island and is the major airport. Paradise Island, new Nassau offers big hotels and a dazzling casino.

Grand Bahama: Has two resort areas; West End, a complete resort complex and the oldest settlement; and Freeport/Lucaya with nightclubs, casinos and a wealth of land and water sports. 

Bahamas is a year-round destination with pleasant temperatures throughout the year. The constant trade breeze ensures pleasant temperatures. So weather isn't a major factor in determining when to go. However, if you're visiting the southern isles they can get very hot in summer (June to August) and the mid-winter temperatures in the northerly and westerly isles can be cooler.

Named after the orange orchard planted by the original owners in the early 1920's. Today you can still enjoy the tropical fruit trees, flowers and large lawns. Set in a quiet location, near the international airport and across the road from a public beach. Enjoy sumptuous home-cooked meals at the Orange Hill Restaurant - open for breakfast, dinner and light lunches (Closed for dinner one night a week). The 32-country style has magnificent ocean or poolside views with A/C. satellite TV, small microwave, mini fridge & coffee maker. Other facilities: swimming pool, bar, dinning room. Diving and snorkelling are available. 

  Paradise Island Harbour Resort - 3 Star
This newly redesigned and full renovated resort has 246 rooms. It is a short walk from the Atlantis Casino, shops, and Hurricane Hole Marina. The resort has it's own private beach with protected swimming area in the harbour. Some rooms have panoramic water view rooms. All have A/C, Cable TV, radios, minifridge, phone & voice mail, in room safes, coffeemaker, hairdryers. Amenities include: harbour view gourmet restaurant, a buffet style restaurant, cocktail lounge, pool bar, tour desk, gift shop & beauty salon. Recreational Facilities: Freeform swimming pool with hot tub and waterfalls, fully equipped fitness centre (fee), dive shop, game room, water sports centre and scuba diving.

Sheraton Cable Beach Resort - 4 Star (Cable Beach)
Located on beautiful Cable Beach, next to the Caribbean's largest casino, 10 minutes from Nassau town and 15 minutes from the airport. The resort offers 700 A/C guest rooms with private balcony, satellite TV, DD phone, mini-bar, coffee maker, room service, and direct dial phone. Amenities include: several restaurants, lobby bar, pool bar/snack bar, live entertainment, tour desk, shopping arcade, nightclub and beauty salon. One of the most beautiful resorts in the tropics. The Colonial style hotel has been a long-time hideaway for the rich and famous.The club is located on 35 acres along a white sand beach. There are 121 elegantly furnished garden, ocean view and beach front rooms. All rooms have A/C, ceiling fan, mini bar, in room safe, direct dial phone, voice mail, TV, DVD, CD, internet access, spacious patio or balcony. This is an expansive waterfront resort on three miles of white sand beach, the 2300 rooms spread over three towers: Beach Tower (3 star), Coral Tower (4 star), Royal Tower (5 star).
