From the heights of the Himalayas to the coast of the China Sea, over the course of its 4500km journey, the Mekong River irrigates much more than Indochina.  Wherever it flows, it captivates man and shapes their lives.  We invite you to travel up this great noble "water snake" from the lake at Tonle Sap after visiting the ancient sites at Angkor in the footsteps of Henri Mouhot, all the way to Ho Chi Mink City; a town still filled with reminders of the French colonial presence.

The RV Indochine combines charm and comfort, with its colonial style and exotic wood panelling.  The ship was designed to enhance clients' experience on the mekong and its tributaries.
The team of 22 crew members combine to create a relaxed and convivial atmosphere on board.  The ship features a panoramic restaurant, large air conditioned lounge and bar with wifi internet,, 250 sq metre sun deck with a covered fan cooled space and self-serve drinks and snack station, a separate open sundeck and laundry.
The 24 cabins are comfortable, sunny and roomy with a bathroom and separate shower, two large picture windows, air conditioning, safe, hair dryer and power converter.
The upper deck restaurant serves sophisticated cuisine with quality service.  Breakfast and lunch is a buffet selection, and dinner is a la carte with a selection of Western, Vietnamese and Khymer cuisines created from locally sourced produce.

Climate - The dry season lasts from December to April, but the atmosphere remains humid.  During the rainy season which runs from May to November there are frequent violent but short rainstorms which usually occur towards the end of the afternoon.  The best season is from November to March

Vietnam Currency: VND - Vietnamese Dong. The most popular currency is the US dollar, preferably in small denominations. That said, the Euro is still widely accepted by the Vietnamese. Bank cards and credit cards are not often accepted and Travellers Cheques are difficult to change.

Cambodia Currency: KHR - Cambodian Riel. The most popular currency is the US dollar, preferably in small denominations. Euros are not really recognised so are not readily accepted. Bank cards and credit cards are not often accepted and Travellers Cheques are difficult to change.

Mobility - This type of cruise/tour is NOT recommended for passengers with limited mobility
