This 5-day cruise offers the chance to explore the art, history and tradition of Venice and the lagoon from the comfort of your ship moored in the heart of the city.  Each island of the Lagoon is unique: glass blowing in Murano, and lace making on Burano.  In and around viewing famous sites such as the Doges Palace, Piazza San Marco, and the Bridge of Sighs you will have free time to shop or take a gondola ride.

Itinerary

Day 1 VENICE

Boarding at 6.00 pm at the San Basilio wharf (vaporetto station Santa Marta) and departure for the Wharf of the 7 Martyrs. Settling in on board. Presentation of the crew and welcome cocktail in the lounge. Dinner on board and free evening in Venice. Overnight stopover.

   
Day 2 VENICE – BURANO – MURANO – VENICE
 

Breakfast on board. Morning cruise on the lagoon. Back in Venice at 12.00 noon.  Lunch. Departure for an excursion in a private boat to the islands in the lagoon: Burano, famous for its lace, and Murano, known throughout the world for it ancestral glass-blowing techniques. Back on board at the end of the afternoon. Dinner and an evening's dancing on board. Overnight stopover.

   
Day 3 VENICE
 

Breakfast on board. Departure for a guided tour of the Doges Palace and the famous Piazza San Marco. Back to the boat for lunch. Free afternoon to explore Venice. Back to the boat around 7.00 pm for dinner. Free evening and overnight stopover.

   
Day 4 VENICE – CHIOGGIA (or thereabouts) – VENICE
 

Departure of the boat. Breakfast during the cruise. Sailing in the magnificent Bay of Venice. Arrival in Chioggia during the morning. Free time in the town. Back to the boat for lunch. In the afternoon, an excursion to Padua, the city of Saint Anthony and also a city of art and pilgrimage. After visiting the famous "Santo", the basilica devoted to Saint Anthony, you will have the chance to stroll around the historic centre and discover the "Café Pedrocchi", dear to the citizens of Padua, the city of Saint Anthony. During this time, the boat will sail for Venice where we will rejoin it in the evening. Back on board. Dinner and gala evening. Overnight stopover.

   
Day 5 VENICE
 

Breakfast on board. Disembarkation at the passenger terminal in Venice.

   
 

This itinerary is a guide only. For reasons of navigational safety, the captain and crew of the boat alone may decide to modify the itinerary.

Please note Croisi cruises are bilingual with on board commentaries in both French & English. Sightseeing tours are guaranteed in English with either bilingual guides or audiphones.
