Two-River Cruise: the romance of the Rhine and Moselle

Board ship at 6pm in Strasbourg. Whilst cruising towards Mainz you'll be introduced to the crew over a welcome cocktail.  Dinner will them be served on board, followed by an evening of entertainment in the lounge.  The cruise will continue through the night.

DAY 2        MAINZ - KOBLENZ - Romantic Rhine Valley
    This morning, join a guided tour of Mainz and a visit to the Gutenberg Museum. Mainz was founded more than 2,000 years ago by the Romans. In the 17th and 18th centuries, top architects and sculptors enhanced the basic shape of the town with fine palaces and churches. You'll have the chance to admire the magnificent, historical houses which have been outstandingly well-restored before continuing on to the Gutenberg Museum. This world-famous museum of book printing houses two copies of the Gutenberg Bible, the first major book printed with movable type in the West. In the afternoon, we'll glide through the legendary and romantic Rhine Valley, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002. At each and every turn of the river, you'll marvel at the castles and medieval villages set amidst the renowned vineyards. We'll also pass the legendary Lorelei rock, named after a beautiful young maiden who, according to German legend, threw herself into the river in despair over a faithless lover and was transformed into a siren. The ship will arrive in Koblenz during the evening. After dinner on boar join a city tour with our host or hostess
DAY 3  

KOBLENZ - COCHEM - TRIER - The Moselle Valley


The morning will be spend cruising, affording the time to view the exceptional landscapes the Moselle Valley has to offer as the scenery rolls by. Arrive in Cochem in the early afternoon. You have a choice of free time to explore this quaint city on your own, or join a guided tour of Cochem Castle. This castle, also known as Reichsburg, sits almost 329 feet above the valley with its Gothic towers pointing high in the sky. Return on board and begin to cruise towards Trier. After dinner, tonight's entertainment will be provided by the crew. The ship will cruise through the night.

DAY 4   TRIER - The Moselle Valley

Spend the morning cruising on the Moselle with time to relax on the sun deck and admire the vineyards and passing scenery.  The ship will arrive in Trier by late morning.  In the afternoon, set of on a guided tour of Trier and its Roman ruins.  Tonight is a festive gala evening.  The boat will remain in port overnight.


One last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9 am




This offer includes: Your cruise with all meals from dinner the first evening to breakfast on the final day - drinks included in this price are water, wine, beer, fruit juices during the meal and coffee after both lunch and dinner for meals eaten on the boat - drinks from the bar, except for champagne or wines from our special list - twin-occupancy cabin with shower in bathroom - assistance from our onboard multi-lingual host/hostess - welcome cocktail - gala dinner - all port fees -  all excursions mentioned in itinerary.

  CroisiEurope and the ship's Captain reserve the right to modify the cruising itinerary to ensure the safe navigation of the vessel.  The programme may be subject to modification depending on availability at ports of call or passing through the locks.

  CroisiEurope will honour the 2016 rates shown without a fuel surcharge unless the price of oil reaches US$120 per barrel.  We reserve the right to charge a fuel supplement if the price of oil is over this amount. Any surcharge will also affect the coach transfer costs.
