This 7 day cruise between Paris and the Normandy Coast allows you to discover the highlights of magical Paris such as Notre Dame, Champs Elysées, the Eiffel tower; the Chateau of Versailles, the historic town of Rouen- also known as the place where Joan of Arc died; the Abbey Trail; and the historic fishing port of Honfleur.

Itinerary
   
     
Day 1   PARIS

 

Boarding between 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm in Paris. Time to settle comfortably in your cabins before meeting the crew during a welcome cocktail reception. Dinner on board. Overnight stop

     
Day 2  

PARIS

   

Breakfast on board. The day will be dedicated to the discovery of Paris. Morning guided tour of Paris, which will begin with famous landmarks as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées. Lunch on the ship followed by a free afternoon to stroll round Paris. Dinner. Cruise through Paris "by night" (depending on the water level). Overnight stop.

     
Day 3   PARIS – LES ANDELYS on VERNON
   

Departure of the cruise early in the morning. Buffet breakfast on board. Past the futuristic La Defense district with its concrete and glass architecture. Lunch on board. Stop in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine. Departure for the guided tour of the Chateau of Versailles (except Mondays, when the chateau is closed), which is among the most famous and prestigious monuments of world heritage and constitutes the most beautiful and most complete work of French art of the 18th century – on Mondays, optional tour of the Chateau of Auvers-sur-Oise. Back on board in Mantes la Jolie, dinner and continuation of the cruise for Andelys or Vernon (depending on moorings available at the wharves) Overnight stop.

     
Day 4   LES ANDELYS on VERNON - ROUEN
   

Departure of the cruise in the early morning depending on the tides. Buffet breakfast on board while cruising along through a landscape of broad limestone cliffs. Lunch on board. Arrival in Rouen around 2.00 pm, the former capital of Normandy. During the afternoon guided tour of the city in which you will discover among other things the Cathedral, the historic neighbourhoods, and the Place du Vieux Marche where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake.  Back on board and the gala evening.  Overnight stop.

     
Day 5   ROUEN - CAUDEBEC
   

Departure of the cruise early in the morning. Breakfast and journey through a magnificent landscape of steep cliffs, at the foot of which are a number of charming little villages typical of the region.  Lunch during the cruise. Arrival in Caudebec around 2.00 pm. Departure for the guided tour of the Abbey Trail, continue via Jumièges where one of the most beautiful abbeys in France is to be found, as is the church of St Peter, which is one of the most beautiful examples of 10th century Norman architecture.  Back on board at 8.00 pm. Dinner. Departure of the boat depending on the tides for Honfleur.

     
Day 6   HONFLEUR

 

Breakfast on board. Arrival in the port of Honfleur depending on the tides. The morning will be devoted to the guided tour of the town and its fishing port, its narrow picturesque streets and their old houses, the salt lofts, the church of St Catherine (15th – 16th century) which is the biggest church in France built of wood. Back to the boat of lunch.  The afternoon will be devoted to the excursion of the Cote Fleurie. Stopping in Trouville and Deauville. Tour of a distillery where the famous Calvados is made.  Back on board in the evening. Dinner. Overnight stop.

     
Day 7   HONFLEUR
   

Breakfast on board. Disembarkation around 9.00 am. End of journey.
(Option: Transfers from Honfleur to Paris available to be booked at additional cost)

Please note Croisi cruises are bilingual with on board commentaries in both French & English. Sightseeing tours are guaranteed in English with either bilingual guides or audiphones.
