Days 1 & 2: Hanoi
Sightseeing tour of Hanoi. Visit Hi Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature and Ethnology Museum. Then tour the traditional streets of the Old Quarter. Tonight, see a water puppet show. (B)

Days 3 & 4: Halong Bay
Embark your junk and sail amongst the thousands of karst limestone islands of Halong Bay.  Disembark after breakfast on day 4 and transfer back to Hanoi (B,L,D – B)

Day 5: Hanoi

Day at leisure and transfer to your hotel. (B)


Days 1 & 2: Ho Chi Minh City
Sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City, once known as Saigon. See the colonial quarter, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, Reunification Palace and the Chinese Quarter. (B)

Day 3: Cu Chi Tunnels
Visit the amazing tunnel network of Cu Chi built by the Viet Cong. (B)

Days 4 & 5: Mekong Delta 
Overnight trip to the Mekong Delta. Take a bike ride, explore the local villages and visit the colourful floating markets. Make your way back to Ho Chi minh Airport on Day 5. (B)

  Day 1: Hanoi - Night train to Sapa
Transfer to the Hanoi Train station for the overnight train to Lao Cai.

Day 2: Lao Cai - Ta Phin - Sapa
Learn about the customs of the local hill tribes in Ta Phin Village then depart for Sapa and visit its colourful handicraft market (B).

Day 3: Sapa - Night train to Hanoi
Today walk through stunning landscapes of rice paddies, visiting Hmong and Giay communities.  Night train back to Hanoi. (B,L)

Day 4: Hanoi
Arrive back at Hanoi railway station 5 am ish

Phu Quoc Island: best time OCT - MAY
Simply the most beautiful island in Vietnam offering white sand beaches.  Accessible by plane from Saigon, Can Tho or Rach Gai.

Day 1: Hue
Arrive in Hue. Afternoon sightseeing of the Imperial Palace and Dong Ba market.

Day 2: Hue – Hoi An

Visit Tu Duc Mausoleum and drive to Hoi An via the scenic Hai Van mountain pass. (B)

Days 3 & 4: Hoi An
Take a short bike tour to Tra Que village and take a cooking class. Then explore the quaint streets of Hoi An. Free time at the beach or for shopping until your transfer to Danang Airport on the next day. (B,L)  

  Day 1: Siem Reap - Roluos Temples
Arrival transfer to your hotel, then visit the Roluos group of temples.

Day 2: Angkor Wat - Banteay Srei - Ta Prohm
Visit Angkor Watt, Banteay Srei and the jungle submerged Ta Prohm. (B)
Day 3: Preah Khan - Neak Pean - Thommanon - Chau Say Tevoda - Angkor Thom
Visit Preah Khan and the Thommanon temples.  Then see Angkor Thom, the Bayon/ Elephant and Leper King Terraces. (B)
Day 4: Tonle Sap Lake & departure
Visit the floating village of Kompong Khleang and have a picnic lunch in a villager's home. Return to Siem Reap for your flight. (B,L)


Overnight cruise on the Mekong

    Mai Chau & Ninh Binh Adventure

There is no better way to capture the essence of this part of Vietnam than a cruise - wending the maze of waterways, visiting quaint riverside towns, , rice plantations and floating markets.

Hop on a bicycle and meet the friendly White Thai  inhabitants of Mai Chau where you spend two nights in a traditional stilted  house. Then explore the stunning scenery of Nin Binh to see rural Vietnam at its best.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be - Can Tho
Morning transfer to Cai Be.  On arrival board your boat and start your Mekong Delta exploration.  Have lunch and complementary soft drinks while you glide quietly on the river and take the time to admire the scenery and daily life on the river.

Stop to visit local villages, orchards and rice fields. (L,D)

Day 2: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City
After a visit to the colourful floating markets, return to Can Tho and then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city. (B)


Day 1: Hanoi – Duong Lam - Mai Chau
Drive to the village of Duong Lam where you take an easy bike ride. Continue to Mai Chau for an evening performance by the local tribes. (L,D)
Day 2: Mai Chau
A day to explore Mai Chau. Morning bike ride around the village. Afternoon walking tour, a great opportunity to meet local White Thais working in rice fields with their buffalos. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Mai Chau – Hoa Lu- Ninh Binh
Drive to Ninh Binh across one of the most picturesque countryside landscape of Vietnam. Visit charming Hoa Lu, which used to be Vietnam's capital. (B,L, D)
Day 4: Ninh Binh – Hanoi
Explore by bike and boat the superb landscapes of immense rice fields and limestone mountains of Van Long. Drive back to Hanoi in the evening. (B,L)
