Day 1

Welcome to Vietnam.  Meet, assist and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2


  Sightseeing tour of Hanoi. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature and the Ethnology Museum. This afternoon, explore the famous 36 streets of the Old Quarter on a walking tour. (B)
Day 3
Hanoi – Halong Bay
  Morning drive to Halong. Board a traditional wooden junk and sail amongst the thousands of karst limestone islands and islets of Halong Bay. Fresh seafood lunch and dinner will be served on board. (B,L,D)
Day 4

Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hoi An

  Wake up early in the morning to admire the bay at sunrise. Later, disembark and transfer to Hanoi for your flight to Danang. Arrival transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. (B)
Day 5

Hoi An

  This morning, explore the quaint cobblestone streets of Hoi An with your guide on hand to offer his expert knowledge and help you unearth some hidden gems in this UNESCO protected town. (B)
Day 6
Hoi An
  A day at leisure to explore Hoi An at your own pace, shop in the market, have a silk dress or suit fitted or simply relax at your hotel or on the lovely Cao Dai Beach. (B)
Day 7

Hoi An - Danang - Hue

  Depart to Danang via the scenic Hai Van Pass. In Danang, visit the Cham Museum, home to relics from the Khmer civilisation. Arrive in Hue in the afternoon. (B)
Day 8
  This morning your guide will take you on a short sampan cruise up the Perfume River. You will then depart for a short cycle ride to the village of Thanh Tien, famous for its traditional handicraft production of paper flowers. Afternoon visit to Hue Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market. (B)
Day 9
Hue - Ho Chi Minh City
  This morning, visit Tu Duc mausoleum and a typical garden house built following the precise rules of geomancy. Transfer to the airport and flight to Ho Chi Minh City. (B)
Day 10
Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City
  Morning drive to Cu Chi to visit the amazing tunnel network built by Vietnamese fighters during the Vietnam War. Later, city tour of the former Saigon. See the Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Chinese district of Cho Lon. (B)
Day 11
Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta
  Drive to Cai Thia and depart for an easy cycle ride along the many canals of the area. Stop at a local house for lunch. Afternoon leisurely boat trip along Cay Da Canal.  Tonight spend the night in homestay, you may join your hosts in the kitchen to prepare dinner and learn to cook some traditional dishes. (B,L,D)
Day 12 Mekong Delta
  A morning boat trip to visit a floating catfish farm.  Continue your journey with a short bike ride in the surrounding countryside. Visit a primary school, rice fields and fruit orchards. Overnight in Can Tho. (B,L)
Day 13
Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City
  Morning visit to the colourful floating markets of Cai Rang and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh Airport. (B)
