  Day 1




Delhi
Welcome to Delhi, India! a monumental city with a vibrant mix of old and new teeming bazaars, stately British boulevards, powerful Mughal palaces and forts, and intricate, ethereal towers, temples and tombs. On arrival at Delhi International Airport you will be met and assisted by our company executive and transferred to your hotel.

                      
 
  Day 2



        
Delhi
Morning visit to the Red Fort, a massive sandstone fort built by Shah Jahan on the banks of Yamuna River and the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. See also the Raj Ghat, the cremation ground of the great father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. This afternoon, discover New Delhi visiting the Qutub Minar, the Baha'i Lotus Temple, India Gate and the Presidents House. (B)

     
  Day 3



Delhi – Jaipur (260 km)
Depart for Jaipur, Rajasthan's capital is also known as the Pink City. The origin of this nickname becomes immediately apparent as you enter the old city walls and see the pink-coloured buildings that rise at every turn. Afternoon at leisure. Tonight, Rajasthani dinner at a renowned local restaurant. (B,D)

     
  Day 4



Jaipur
Morning tour to Amber Fort, the Palace of the Kuchchawa rulers. Travel on elephant back and visit Jagmandir (the Hall of Victory). Afternoon visit to Hawa Mahal, City Palace and the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Embark on a rickshaw for an exhilarating ride across the Old City.  (B)

     
  Day 5



Jaipur – Agra (235 km)
Depart for Agra. Stop en route to visit Fatehpur Sikri, an eerily abandoned capital from the Mughal Empire. Sadly, it served as capital for little more than a decade, being eventually abandoned for lack of accessible water. Continue to Agra for overnight. (B)

     
  Day 6




Agra – Varanasi
Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Often considered the pinnacle of Mughal art in India, the Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Marvel as light and colours transform this stunning monument in the beautiful dawn glow. This afternoon, visit Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-dullah Tomb. Evening transfer to Delhi and fly to Varanasi.   Day 7



Varanasi
A full day dedicated to the discovery of Varanasi, the holy city dedicated to Shiva.  Walk along the Ghats and attend a fascinating Aarti Ceremony during which offerings of flowers and glowing lamps are made to the holy river. (B)

   
  Day 8



Varanasi – Delhi
Early morning boat ride on the Ganges along the Ghats to witness the daily rituals. Later, visit to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi (included) where you can connect with your onward flight. (B)
