From the hustle and bustle of Delhi to the spiritual atmosphere of Varanasi and the vibrant colours of Rajasthan, get a firsthand experience of the incredible kaleidoscope of cultures that is India.
Day 1

Welcome to India. Meet, assist and transfer to hotel.

Day 2

Delhi – Varanasi              
Fly to Varanasi. On arrival visit Sarnath where Lord Buddha revealed his doctrine.  Visit the Museum, one of the most important in India. Tonight, witness a fascinating Aarti ceremony on the bank of the Ganges. (B)

Day 3

Varanasi – Khajuraho
Early morning boat ride for sunrise on the Ganges along the Ghats, bathing and cremation sites. Later visit the Vishwanath Temple and Bharat Mata Temple.
Later fly to Khajuraho. Visit the famous Khajuraho Temples founded in the 9th Century and influenced by Tantrism. (B)


Day 4


Khajuraho – Jhansi – Agra 
Today, drive to the charming town of Orchha. Once   capital of its own state, Orchha is dotted with three palaces combined to form a complex as imposing as that at Udaipur. Later drive to Jhansi and catch a train to Agra. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. (B)

Day 5

Morning tour of the famous Taj Mahal whose unparalleled glory and beauty have been much photographed but never fail to impress. Later visit Agra Fort. This afternoon drive to Sikandra.
Sikandra and visit the impressive tomb of Mughal Emperor Akbar. (B)

Day 6

Agra – Jaipur (260 km)
Morning drive to Jaipur.  En route visit the fascinating ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri, former capital of Akbar Empire, but was abandoned after only 15 years due to its insufficient water supply.
Continue to Jaipur. (B)

Day 7

Visit the romantic Amber fort set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements. Ride up to this hilltop palace on a caparisoned painted elephant, passing through the ancient main gate where Maharajahs of Jaipur have entered for four hundred years. Afternoon sightseeing tour of the city visiting the Palace of Winds, the City Palace and the observatory. (B)

Day 8

Jaipur – Delhi (265 km)
Morning drive to Delhi followed by afternoon sightseeing of Old and New Delhi.  Visit the Qutab Minar ,one of the most perfect towers in the Persian world, the Red Fort, Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi and Jama Masjid mosque . Then take an exhilarating rickshaw ride to the bustling and colourful markets of the old city. (B)

Day 9

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
