This delicious culinary tour will highlight the aromatic cuisine of North India, complemented with visits to some of the world's finest Heritage Sites including the Taj Mahal and the Amber Fort. Culture and Cuisine are strongly linked in India and this is particularly true in Lucknow with its sumptuous Awadhi cuisine, heritage of the cultured Nawabs. In Agra, explore the Mughlai cuisine – varied Kormas, Masalas and Tandoori, while you will have a chance to experience Rajasthani cuisine during a dinner with a local family.

Day 1

Meet, assist and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2

Today proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi covering some of the most interesting highlights of Delhi like Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat and Rickshaw ride at local market to buy Indian Spices in the old city area and the Government Buildings,the Qutab Minar etc. In the evening see the Dances of India show followed by dinner at Chor Bizarre Restaurant (typical of North India), prepared by one of Delhi's most experienced chefs. Day 3

Delhi – Jaipur (Approx 250 kms and 05 ½ hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival check into our hotel. This evening you will be taken to experience Dinner with an Indian local family.
Day 4

Morning visit to the Amber Fort. We will take an Elephant Ride up to the Fort. Lunch at a typical Rajasthani Theme Restaurant. Afternoon, sightseeing tour of Jaipur city visiting the City Palace, the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal), and a drive around the Pink City. Evening enjoy dinner at Spice court restaurant.  (B,L,D)

Day 5

Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (Approx 260 kms and 05 ½ hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Agra, en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of Mughal India. After visit drive to Agra. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Evening enjoy Dinner at hotel.  (B,D)

Day 6

After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour of the majestic Agra Red Fort and the world famous eternal monument of love-the Taj Mahal. Evening enjoy dinner at hotel Clarks.  (B,D)
Day 7

Agra – Jhansi (By Train - 12002) –Orchha - Khajuraho ( 190 kms and 04 hrs drive)
After an early breakfast transfer to Agra Cantt Railway station to board train for Jhansi. Assistance on arrival at Jhansi Railway station and then drive to Khajuraho & enroute visit Orchha Fort.  After the visit continue your drive and upon arrival check-in at hotel. Evening enjoy dinner at hotel. (B,D)

Day 8

Khajuraho - Varanasi
Visit the famous Khajuraho Temples founded in the 9th Century and influenced by Tantrism.  Then fly to Varanasi.  On arrival visit Sarnath where Lord Buddha revealed his doctrine.  Tonight witness a fascinating Aarti Ceremony on the banks of the Ganges. (B,D)

Day 9

Day 09  : Varanasi – Lucknow (Approx 280 kms and 05 ½ hrs drive)
Early morning take a boat-ride on the holy River Ganges. In Varanasi life and various activities revolve around the river. Also visit the famous ghats and enjoy a spectacular view of sunrise from river Ganges. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later half day sightseeing Tour of Varanasi City visiting the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University etc.. Afternoon drive to Lucknow. Upon arrival transfer and check in to the hotel. Evening witness a cooking demonstration at hotel Taj followed by dinner. Those who are adventurous can also try the Lucknowi Pan!.

Day 10

Lucknow – Delhi
After breakfast half day sightseeing tour of Lucknow – the City of Gardens and the 18th century capital of the Nawab Wazirs and the centre of culture and tradition. Visit the great Imanbara, Jama Masjid, Picture Gallery etc. Afternoon you will be transfer to the airport to board the flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi connect on your own flight for your onward destination. (B)
