  Day 1

Arrive Delhi
Meet, assist and transfer to your hotel.

  Day 2 -3

Tow days to explore Old & New Delhi including a rickshaw ride and visits to Chandani Chowk's ancient market, Qutab Minar Indo-Islamic complex, Lotus Peace Temple, Akshandham Temple and Raj Ghat. (B)

  Day 4

Delhi – Varanasi
Morning flight to Varanasi followed by an afternoon at leisure and an evening visit to the Ghats to witness the colourful and fascinating Aarti rituals. (B)


Day 5

Varanasi - Khajuraho
Early morning boat ride on the ganges along the Ghats, bathing and cremation sites.  Later visit Kashi
Vishwanath and Bharat Mata Temples and attend a silk weaving demonstration before flying to Khajuraho. (B)

  Day 6

Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh (250 km)
Morning visit to the richly decorated Khajuraho Temples followed by an afternoon drive to Bandhavgarh National Park ~ tiger country.  Check in at the Jungle Lodge, your base for 3 nights. (B,D)

  Day  7-8

Bandhavgarh National Park
Two days to explore the Tiger Reserve.  Four game drives are included to give you a chance to see the elusive tiger and observe the reserve's many species of mammals and birds. (B,L,D)

  Day 9

Bandhavgarh - Kanha (240 km)
Morning drive through the scenic Vindhya Hills to Kanha Tiger Reserve, one of the very best reserves for tiger sightings.  Check into your lodge. (B,L,D)

  Day 10

Kanha National Park
Two game drives today for further opportunities to look for tigers and photograph the reserve's many species of mammals and birds.  Lunch and dinner at your lodge. (B,L,D)


  Day 11

Kanha - Jabalpur - Mumbai
Drive to Jabalpur and board your flight to Mumbai (via Delhi).  Arrive in Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay), the biggest metropolis and financial capital of India.  Evening at leisure. (B)


Day 12


Morning sightseeing tour of the city including visits to the Jain Temple at Malabar Hill, Dhobhighat and the Prince of Whales museum.  Free time in the afternoon to explore Mumbai's colonial district or fascinating shops, or perhaps take the ferry to the nearby Elephant Caves. (B)


Day 13

Mumbai - Udaipur
Morning flight to Udaipur.  Sitting on the shores of shimmering Lake Pichola, with the Aravalli Hills stretching away in every direction, Udaipur offers an unmatched and romantic setting. (B)

  Day 14

Sightseeing tour of Udaipur including the City Palace.  In the evening take a boat ride on Lake Pichola. (B)

  Day 15

Udaipur - Pushkar (260 km)
Today drive to the tranquil lakeside town of Pushkar. (B)

  Day 16

Pushkar - Jaipur (140 km)
Morning tour of Pushkar, home of the famous November Camel Fair.  In the afternoon drive to Jaipur, also known as the 'Pink City'. (B)

  Day 17

Elephant ride up to the entrance of Amber Fort.  See the Palace of the Winds before continuing to the City Palace Museum and the Jantar Mantar observatory. (B)
  Day 18

Jaipur - Agra (250 km)
Drive to Agra, on the way visiting the World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri.
  Day 19

Agra - Delhi (205 km)
Arrive in a decorated horse driven carriage to the Taj Mahal.  Admire the beautiful lines of one of mankind's greatest architectural feats.  Later visit the Agra Fort before driving to Delhi for overnight accommodation. (B)
  Day 20

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
