In 1987, when I embarked on my first journey of discovery to the Middle East and the Mediterranean, my eyes were opened to the rich, awe-inspiring history and architecture of the world's ancient kingdoms, for every stone is interwoven with a short story of the past.  I stood in awe of immense structures seemingly impossible to build even today; constructed due to the inspiring vision of talented engineers with an ability to dream great dreams.  From the fascination of these endless lands that have drawn travellers since almost the beginning of time, a dream was born to enable fellow travellers to explore these ancient kingdoms in a similar personal style.
