When I look back to the dream I had in 1990 to pioneer easier travel and greater understanding between New Zealand and the Middle East, Mediterranean and Gulf, it all seemed like an impossible dream. On an Ancient Kingdoms Holiday to Jordan, you'll have the opportunity to meet Marguerite Van Geldermalsen, world renowned author of "Married to a Bedouin". Marguerite spent the first seven years of her married life happily living in a cave in Petra. She now resides near Petra with her family.
